The Great Wolf Lodge
This past May we decided to visit the Great Wolf Lodge in Central Massachusetts. Penny was turning three and we wanted to get away from the the rainy cool weather to celebrate. After throwing out a few ideas we decided to make the trip to the Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor resort centered around entertaining kids. After much contemplation we decided on a one night stay, which gave us two days at the water park. You are free to go from open to close each day. Upon arrival we wer

Fairy Garden and Gnome Discovery Walk
So how is it you spend a sunny spring Sunday afternoon? At a Fairy Garden and Gnome walk of course! This past weekend Penny and I made our way to Salisbury, Massachusetts to take a walk through the woods in search of fairy's and gnomes. Each year Pettengill Farm puts together a walking path lined with fairy and gnome houses created by various people and organizations within the community. Collectively there are about 150 displays for viewing. Each display is quite unique fr

Disney and Universal Park Break Down
So your planning a trip to Disney World and Universal and you simply cannot decide on where to go? Join the club! So may options and frankly never enough time. I am a see it all and do it all person so I can tend to pack a heavy schedule, though I realize that isn't for everyone. On our visit to Disney World this past March I had a difficult time choosing how many parks to visit and what parks to visit. I travelled with 3 adults and a 2 year old, so as you can imagine interes

The Polar Express Adventure in Portland, Maine
Portland, Maine offers one of the best Christmas events in the country, a ride on The Polar Express! Each year Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co & Museum bring to life The Polar Express. The train and cars are restored and look traditional. Once your journey starts, you will make a

Road Trip Edition: Iceland's Golden Circle
On my recent trip to Iceland, I spent much time researching what was a must do. Everything I could find stated that the Golden Circle was not to be missed. So we went..... We woke up early to a cloudy and drizzly Monday morning in the city of Reykjavik. I gathered everything I might need on a full day road trip through Iceland. (rain coat, sweatshirt, boots, rain boots, extra socks, hat, gloves, a head lamp, hot spot, chargers, cameras, snacks, and a water bottle) Just the da

Wild Tours : Xrails Adventure in Mexico
If you're looking for some fun in Cozumel away from the beach, check out Wild Tours Xrails. Aquatic activities are my absolute favorite thing to do in a destination with such blue waters and perfect weather, but every now and then the beating hot sun becomes a little too much. If you aren't afraid to get a little dirty, you will have an amazing time driving down dirt roads on a xrail vehicle. They are a mix between an extreme go-cart and an ATV with the capability to go over

Kealakekua Bay Snorkeling
Kealakekua Bay is located on the west coast of the Big Island, and is just south of Kailua-Kona, roughly 12 miles. It is known to be one of the best snorkeling spots on the Island. On the opposite side of the bay stands the Captain Cook monument. The history behind the monument is that Captain Cook and his crew laded in the Kealakekua Bay in 1779 and were welcomed by the native Hawaiians. However, soon after he died in a conflict that began between the natives and his crew.
