Laupahoehoe Harbor
I was on my way to the Waiapola Valley Lookout when I saw a sign. It read Laupahoehoe Harbor. I didn't have a specific plan for the day, and the Waiapola Valley wasn't going anywhere. I decided to take a detour and check out the harbor.
After a few twists and turns and a free-range chicken crossing, I approached the harbor. It was a pleasant surprise. It had amazing scenery and fierce wave crashing on the rocky coastline. I hung around there grabbing some wonderful snapshots. If you are looking for a quick stop or if you are looking for a place to picnic, Laupahoehoe Harbor is the perfect place.
