Atlantic Ocean Villas

This past summer my boyfriend, 1 year-old daughter, and I travelled to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos for our best friend's destination wedding. The wedding took place on Beaches Resort, with a small number of guests. With a year notice we were able to save appropriately for the trip, but even with notice Beaches came in at roughly $3000pp. Once I found out the price I searched alternative options that would provide us with the accommodations we needed, but would hopefully lower the cost.

In the past I had never rented a whole house or apartment, but after much research it seemed like the better option for us given that we would be traveling with a child. I stumbled upon Atlantic Ocean Villas through TripAdvisor. It was the number one rated rental property in Providenciales. The reviews were positive and it had perks we were looking for such as its own private beach. Once I obtained all the information, together we sat and took a look at which option would be the best for our family.

There were a lot of positives to Beaches, but the price was a bit too high. We also figured, we wouldn't be bale to really take advantage of all the water activities and excursions that were available to us, because we would be bringing our 1 year old daughter. In the end the Villa was the better option for us. Plus we were able to split the villa with another couple and their 9 month-old daughter.

We rented the villa, a van, and two carseats for a fraction of what Beaches would have cost for one person. During the week we did make our way to Beaches for wedding festivities and I have to say that it was a beautiful place. In the future I would love to stay for a relaxing adults only vacation.

The villa was the perfect size for two small families. It was a two bedroom two bath, and had a lovely wrap around porch that was located next to the pool. The ocean was a short 2 min walk down a stone path fully equipped with chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, and snorkel equipment. The location to main street and other attractions was perfect. It was private, and everything we had hoped for.
